As soon as I saw this work order I knew this would be a great candidate for a project blog. We dont always get to work with SunBrite products and its a product that I dont think a lot of customers know about. Made in the USA, SunBrite is one of the few TV manufacturers that offers a complete All Weather option. Whether its a DC July/August say with the temps in the 90s or a DC January/February day with temps in the teens this TV can handle it all. Combine this set with a Sunbrite wallmount (and a SnapAV 2 camera/dvr system) and we were able to create a great viewing area on this back patio space.
The first thing you will notice about SunBrite panels is the additional size/weight. In order to weatherproof all of those components no expense has been spared and your average, budget wallmount is not going to support this type of weight. Luckily, Sunbrite makes a great product that can not only support that load but offers locking security through the use of an additional padlock as well.

Anytime we are dealing with an outdoor installation, especially when it comes to a TV, security is going to be a very large concern. As we mentioned above the first step was locking our panel down to the mount with 2 security padlocks. While we all know no lock is fullproof this will, at the least, slow any potential thieves down enough that we should be able to get a good shot of them with the CCTV/DVR combo installed on the wall opposite of the TV.
Our customer already had a large motion controlled flood light system in place to light up the backyard and we further strengthened that security by adding a small 2 camera DVR system. We eventually plan on upgrading that system to take full advantage of the 8 ports on the accompanying DVR so make sure to check out our #ProjectBlog in the future for futher updates. As always comments and questions about this install and product line are welcomed below.
